Defibrillator presented to Templeogue Basketball Club

On the weekend of the 7th and 8th May, Templeogue Basketball Club ran a Blitz for club members and friends in memory of our absent loved ones, Andrew Holland, Tom McLoughlin, Joe Kavanagh,  Mick James and Trevor Kiernan. What better way to remember them than to play the sport they loved.  It was a hugely enjoyable weekend of basketball and socialising!  All donations over the weekend were in aid of the Joe Kavanagh Foundation for which we were truly grateful.  On the Saturday a defibrillator was presented to the club.  The Joe Kavanagh Foundation was delighted for Templeogue B.C. to be the first recipient of a defibrillator from the Foundation. Joe was a founder member of the club.

The following week at the club's awards night, the Joe Kavanagh Foundation was presented with a cheque for the fantastic amount of  €1,000, the result of the weekend's fundraising.  We thank everyone so much for their kindness and support.
